Villa Sassella is situated in the hamlet of Compignano approximately 15 kilometres from Lucca in Tuscany, Italy.
The house is thought to date back to the 14th century and was restored in the 1970s, having been derelict since the 1940s. It has five bedrooms, one twin and four double and the Pool Suite has an adjoining room with two small single beds which are ideally suited for children. All the rooms have ensuite facilities.
There is a fully working kitchen, a large dining room, and several sitting rooms.
Sassella operates on a different basis from most houses you may have rented in the past. Here you need not worry at all about running the house. Cooking, cleaning and laundry services are all provided by our housekeeper.
Stays at Villa Sassella are regularly sold via auction, with the proceeds being donated to charity.
